I went to ArtCenter College of design, where I studied Transportation Design (Car design) and received my bachelors in science in 2019. After Graduating in 2019 I worked in luxury residential design before starting my Masters in Architecture at The Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture Where i Graduated with honors in 2023
I believe that Architecture and Design are at their core about moments in time. Every room is a frame for a cinematic moment and every building weaves these moments together to tell the story of the things and people that inhabit them. To achieve this i approach design in two ways.
The first is design through Empathy. I like to create a story, with characters, and design through the eyes of the people I imagine using the space. Who are they? Why are they here? What do they feel?
The second is design through physical inspiration. Often this means re-imagining forms from nature and abstracting them. Together the two approaches to design help me to create a concept of both aesthetics and experience, what are they seeing and what are they feeling?
